We are looking for an experienced Social Worker interested in progression to the next level in their career.
In this role you will be required to undertake a range of duties to support the Social Workers and Team Managers across the division as directed by the Service Managers.
You will support Newly Qualified Social Workers to support their development in order to ensure they provide a quality service to families and meet statutory obligations.
You will manage a workload encompassing case- related issues alongside supporting NQSW’s. You will maintain administrative systems to maintain performance systems and act as a practice resource for the service.
You will have a significant post qualifying experience at level 3 as a Social Worker. To succeed in this role you will have knowledge of relevant children’s legislation, research, procedures and policies.
You will be able to confront challenges, balance risk and make appropriate decisions. The role requires for you to have an ability to work outside normal office hours and visit locations across the city.
You must have recognised qualifications in Social Work e.g. CQSW, DIP SW or CSS, post qualification training and must be a practice educator or willing to undertake training
