You will be working closely with tutors to assess learning outcomes and will be expected to travel around the city visiting schools and nurseries to assess the practical element of the qualifications.
In this role you will carry out the assessment process and provide feedback and support to learners whilst maintaining a record of assessments in accordance with Service and Awarding Body requirements
You will be required to demonstrate previous experience of assessing Early Years and Teaching Assistant competencies within a work place environment and have the relevant occupational experience that comes with it. To succeed in this role you must have a good understanding of complex learning needs and support requirements and have a good understanding of their impact on a learners progress.
You must be able to work on your own initiative and unsupervised and possess excellent organisation and record keeping skills. You will also be able to relate to a range and variety of people to establish a good rapport with adult learners.
You must have NVQ Assessor Awards D32/D33 or A1, a relevant subject qualification minimum Level 3 and a L2 English qualification
Permanent, part time (18.5 hours per week), working term time only
Please note that this role attracts a temporary market supplement in the annual amount of £1,314 which will expire in June 2020.
