Are you interested in supporting the Councils future being the driving force for change? We are currently looking for an enthusiastic change manager to support the Facilities Management team.
Being an enabler for workplace change you will deliver a number of important projects working with teams across the City including HR, ICT and senior managers. The ambitious team of over 100 create and implement exciting initiatives across Estates and Building Services working collaboratively using the latest technology.
With great flexible working options, you will be required to travel across the city normally at Phoenix House and occasionally further afield. Including occasionally work outside normal office hours in order chair project boards, join working groups and fulfil other service needs.
You will work with service managers to optimise the performance of the council’s estate by implementing Facilities Management projects and programmes. These will lead to changes in the way the FM service operates its workplace, staffing and processes meaning you can have a real impact in how this important service delivers on behalf of its internal and external customers, adopting a customer centric corporate approach.
Working on a number of projects you will support and implement new strategies such as the creation of new agile workspaces and supporting our carbon reduction plan. You will work alongside colleagues from our Hard FM, Soft FM, Accommodation and Workplace, and Projects team to continuously challenge and improve our service delivery by implementing industry-wide innovation with commercial focus.
With substantial experience of organisational change and the principles of project management processes, you will have a track record of projects that show experience of working in a collaborative, multi-agency FM environment.
Presenting to senior stakeholders you will have strong analytical and communication skills, as well as being able to adapt to changes having the ability to manage stakeholders and network at all levels. Dealing successfully with conflict utilising strong negotiation and influencing skills.
