Job purpose

We are looking for someone to plan, deliver and evaluate all LLEP Business Gateway growth hub service communications, marketing and engagement activities and support the growth hub in having an effective approach to the way it informs and engages key stakeholders. And to achieve the best possible level of accurate, positive coverage across all target media.

You will

Manage whole project/campaigns, or key aspects of them for growth hub communication, marketing and engagement strategies with staff, key partners and a wide range of stakeholders. Maintain and develop strategies to reflect the changing needs in the economy and business support via campaigns, events, publications, use of digital media channels, video etc.

Research and write articles, features and other copy working with graphic designers and using digital media skills to develop formats and layouts etc. and contribute to the overall production of internal and external printed publications and on-line website/social media content.

Promote the Business Gateway growth hub locally, regionally and nationally involving a range of media i.e. print, digital and social media, banners, signage and video to ensure key stakeholders are informed about the Business Gateway growth hub service.

Requirements of post

Experience of working in marketing or communications or a related field.

Experience of successfully delivering communication, marketing and/or engagement projects/campaigns using a variety of approaches.

Experience of writing professionally, in a clear and concise manner and an ability to adapt style to meet the needs of intended audiences across different channels e.g. web, printed material etc.

Experience of using a good level of ICT skills including MS Office and use of web and social media tools and filming/video editing.

Educated to NVQ level 4 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline or equivalent relevant experience.

Understanding of communication, marketing and engagement -planning and delivery channels including design and print production processes and use of digital and social media.

Additional information

The salary for this post is £27,905 - £30,507 per annum
