Your role

You’ll be developing, implementing and managing cost models for all projects and programmes whilst measuring trends against these models which will involve reporting variances in trends to the project team management. You’ll need to assist in the administration of projects within the Capital Programme team. This will involve producing and maintaining financial reports on costs associated with projects, committed and forecast variance for a variety of audiences. You’ll have the opportunity to develop, implement and manage the process to capture details of the placement of contracts, funding amendments including additional costs, contract changes and variations.

What you need

With the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, you’ll have experience of working with computerised financial systems using complex spreadsheet systems, word processing and databases. As a self-motivated individual, with a creative and proactive approach to problem solving, you’ll be able to work on your own and also as part of a multi-discipline team. You’ll also need good organisational and time management skills. Relevant experience in a financial environment is also a must.
