This is an excellent opportunity to join our Inward Investment team as we go through an exciting period of change. Join us and you'll help improve the engagement and support offered to Foreign Direct owned companies in Leicester and Leicestershire to promote business growth and expansion.
This post is initially fixed term to end of March 2020 with a possible contract extension subject to confirmation of additional funding.
As a confident Key Account Manager, you’ll be managing and delivering a first-class account management service; to assess and analyse individual business support needs to help direct and facilitate growth and investment/expansion plans. This will involve building, developing and maintaining a close working relationship with Department for International Trade within the region, nationally and at international posts, as project funder, and to secure delivery of the target outputs. You’ll scope and identify foreign-owned businesses operating in Leicester and Leicestershire and devise ways to make an effective introduction.
You’ll have a successful track record of providing business advice and support to deliver business growth/expansion for SMEs and major investors. You’ll need experience of leading development and delivery of high-profile business support strategies, programmes and projects. You’ll understand the challenges and issues facing growing businesses, and how these can be addressed – particularly in key growth sectors. Comprehensive and up to date knowledge of government policies to support international business investment (foreign direct investment) is also a must.
