Your role

As a confident Project Technical Support Officer, you'll be liaising with a range of interested parties and stakeholders in the development of effective projects and programmes including schools, contractors, frameworks, LEP, supply chain, LCC departments, strategic parties and third sector partners. You'll need to gather, validate, analyse and present data into a clear, meaningful, concise and customer friendly format. This will involve identifying and resolving discrepancies and undertaking regular customer liaison.

You'll have the opportunity to attend construction sites whilst monitoring the progress and compliance with the contract data as well as producing and providing regular management reports on the progress of the Capital Programme to the Project Director, Project Board, elected Members and Senior Officers. This will involve advising on the development and implementation of project and business management administrative procedures.

What you need

With the ability to identify financial forecasting & undertaking advanced financial reconciliation, you'll have experience of composing own correspondence and management reports whilst providing advice and support to senior managers. You'll be used to prioritising and organising work to set standards and clear objectives. You'll also need high level competency in data manipulation and analysis. Experience of working in construction/property related environment is also a must.
